Esra Sezgin was born on 20 November 1979 in Nicosia. After completing her high school education at Nicosia Turkish High School, she studied Tourism Management at Near East University. During her studies, she did internships at Dorona Tourism and Istanbul Airlines.
In addition to Cyprus, Esra has had work experience in Turkey and Australia. She has worked at Istanbul Handling Company as a ground hostess and at Coles Myer Company as a sales assistant. In 2006, she returned to Cyprus and started working at Digitürk as a customer assistant. During her ten-year career at Digitürk, she developed her professional skills thanks to ISO quality courses, sales development courses, and customer satisfaction courses she took.
She joined Avertiss in 2015 as an office coordinator and thus started her new career in real estate. Both in her personal and professional life, Esra prioritizes teamwork. She adapts to the changing marketplace and lifestyle conditions easily and enjoys broadening her horizons by learning new things. With her naturally strong interpersonal skills she managed and coordinated the work of over 40 people at a point in time. She also handled recruitment duties of Avertiss for over 6 years, dealing with hundreds of people. Among her many responsibilities, excellent bookkeeping and archives management plays a big role in her day-to-day duties, including accounts management over many portals for the agents of the firm.
She put her ISO quality management training in practice at Avertiss. She single-handedly handled the full transition to a higher criterion of quality management services set by the ISO 9001, adapting the systems and services of Avertiss to a higher standard of quality control which has been in practice for over 6 years. With her contribution, Avertiss became the first property company to receive ISO 9001 certificate in North Cyprus.
Her hobbies include yoga and meditation which she has been practicing for the past two years. In addition to this, she loves getting to know new countries and new cultures.
