Long Beach Welcomes a Luxurious New Multi-Highrise Development: Exclusive Coverage of the Launch Event

cyprus property

Last night, I attended a new development launch with my brokerage in Long Beach, Iskele. The event was well-attended with probably thousands of people. Once we got through security, the entrance was smooth sailing. I was grateful not to have to park the car as my broker, Dengiz, managed to park right in front of the red carpet entrance, impressively outshining parallel parking (my geometry falls short to praise). I was relieved as we ladies were in heels. The design of the venue was nice, with a stage and big screen on one side, the beach on the other, kabana lounges in the corners, and cocktail tables scattered in the middle. The bar was located on a new berth with additional tables. The soft purple ambient lighting and the evening breeze by the beach created a romantic atmosphere.

Upon entering, we were welcomed by familiar faces as this was a company I have been working with since the beginning of my career. They guided us through the crowds and showed us to a comfortable spot. The event began with some instrumental music as people were welcomed for another 30 minutes. Then, the speeches from the President, Prime Minister, and company owners followed, while cocktails and finger foods were circulated all night long.

Afterwards, the new development was presented, and it was breathtaking. The development comprised 21 high-rise buildings located in Long Beach, Iskele with massive pools, a rooftop port with luxury dining overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and an underwater restaurant with glass ceilings underneath the main pool. The main building for the resort’s exclusive amenities is located in the centre of the development, which is in the shape of a ship and has 4 floors of restaurants, bars, and lounge areas surrounded by a 360-degree pool where the building is only accessible over a bridge. The fifth floor will be a below-ground-level underwater restaurant. Additionally, the development will have an on-site gym, sports courts, spa, aqua park, mini-golf, and a shopping avenue with 30 different shops. The project offers studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments, penthouses with breathtaking sea views, and unlike many other developments in the region, offers underground private parking for your nice car to go with your very nice house.

We were pleased with the development and its location. It is exciting to be involved with such a project in the upcoming years. Having gone through similar experiences in my career, I can easily visualize myself enjoying a delightful meal on the rooftop of the finished resort and reminiscing about the day I first learned about the upcoming development. I have seen many ambitious projects come to life in recent years, and this gets me more excited about the new projects.

After the presentations, we decided to skip the party and head out to grab something to eat as we had an hour drive back to Kyrenia ahead of us. We received goodie bags and brochures and went to a restaurant on the other end of Long Beach. We were greeted with smiles and escorted to a table. We were joyed to find out that there was a beautiful violin performer on the stage looking like a fairy under the soft stage lights. The menu was extensive, even including their special dry-aged meat selection. We ordered wine and our food, and the night took a surprising turn with a belly dancer, followed by a fire show, aerial dance performers, and much more. I could not count the number of performances that followed one another. Each performer was impressive, and we enjoyed our food and the shows. We definitely got more than what we bargained for, which was a pleasant surprise.

On the drive back home, I reflected on how often I find myself experiencing pleasant surprises in North Cyprus lately and how fast everything is improving for my little country.
